Introduced in 1989, IELTS is an International English Language Testing System. It is a systemized and standardized test to assess your ability and proficiency of English Language, designed for speakers whose first language is not English. It is usually taken by individuals if they are pursuing advanced studies, visa, work or immigration.
Unlike the conventional ways of teaching the four modules (speaking, listening, reading, writing), we have specifically designed including different activities to keep your interest intact while learning. These activities would help you enhance your analytical skills, elevate the levels of your pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and what not!?
Eligibility Criteria
- Valid Passport.
- Maximum age limit 16 years.
- Need to score 50 percent or more in placement test in order to study at Lexis English.
IELTS General
Course Overview
IELTS General is a test to assess your proficiency of English language in practical and everyday life. Usually, the tasks in test mirror contexts of social life and workplace. The focal points of this course are the four domains of language skills.
- Speaking (In person structured interview)
- Listening (30 minutes; four recorded speeches and conversations).
- Reading (60 minutes; 6 reading passages; slightly easier than IELTS Academic).
- Writing (Letter and Essay writing).
Course Summary
- Six- weeks long course focused on all four English Language communication skills, which would enable you to get proficient in English language and prepare you for your life changing examination.
- Includes six weekly assessments and one final assessment.
- More than 6.5 bands per module are needed in at least 3 formative assessments in order to sit in final assessment.

IELTS Academic
Course Overview
IELTS Academic is a test suitable for prospective university students who want to pursue their higher education in a country where English is an official/ first language. It will only test your English proficiency needed for higher studies, irrespective of your major field.
- Speaking (In person structured interview)
- Listening (30 minutes; four recorded speeches and conversations).
- Reading (60 minutes; 3 long reading passages; descriptive, factual, and analytical).
- Writing (First task of 150 words, individual must describe/ summarize/ explain a table, chart, or graph).
